Kiana is a doctoral student and graduate research assistant in the Racism and Racial Experiences (RARE) Workgroup. Her focus is on various intersections of race, class, gender, indigeneity, and sexuality. Her research interests range from examining racism in sex work, to theorizing the United States as a settler colonial project.
Kiana earned her Bachelor degree in Sociology with a minor in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies from California State University Long Beach. Correct pronouns are she/her.
